A former U-V occurrence/mine(s) located 4.9 km (3.1 miles) NE of Yazzi mesa (coordinates of record) and 2.3 miles due W of Combs Ridge.
Mineralization is carnotite, montroseite and uraninite in lenticular ore pods in the Shinarump member of the Chinle formation (Late Triassic De Chelly sandstone). Deposits occur in the bottoms of paleostream channels, usually with carbonaceous debris.
Analytical data results: V2O5 : U3O8 ratio is 3.8 : 1.
Reserve resource information: Reportedly ore-grade mineralization remains.
