A former U-V occurrence/mine located in the NW¼NW¼ sec. 27, T36N, R29E, G&SRM, 4.8 miles SE of White Ash Peak. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is carnotite and tyuyamunite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness. Local rocks include Oligocene to Paleocene[?] sedimentary rocks.
Workings included underground openings comprised of a 200 foot adit with room and pillar workings.
Production was 703 tons of ore @0.20% U3O8 and 0.96% V2O5 (1959-1960).
