A U-V occurrence/prospect located in the NW¼ sec. 25 & in secs. 26, 34 & 35, T38N, R28E, G&SRM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) NNW of Mexican Cry Mesa (coordinates of record). Mineralization is hosted in sandstone. Local rocks include rocks of the San Rafael Group.
This deposit was estimated with a potential to yield 5,000 tons of ore or 225,000 pounds of V2O5 & carry 0.3% U3O8 (1943). This mesa has about 25 showings 5 to 200 feet long and 1 to 6 feet thick over a distance of 1.5 miles (1943).
