A U-V occurrence/prospect located in secs. 10, 11, 14 & 15, T39N, R29E, G&SRM, 5.5 km (3.4 miles) ESE of Toh Chin Lini Mesa (coordinates of record). Owned by Wade, Curran, and Company.
Mineralization is hosted in the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. Local rocks include Early Tertiary to Late Cretaceous granitic rocks.
Deposit should yield about 1,500 tons of ore carrying about 0.3% U3O8 and 67,500 pounds of V2O5. This area has about 10 exposures over 1 mile of bed outcrop, one 200 feet long and 3 feet to 10 feet thick (1943).
Workings include small underground openings.
Production data: From August, 1942 to February, 1944, Hade, Curran,
and Company shipped 2,942 tons @ 2.23% V2O5 from Martin, North Martin, CBW-MC, Saytah, SAytah Canyon & Eurida Mines.
