A former underground U-V occurrence/mine located in the SW¼ sec. 22, T36N, R29E, G&SRM, 4.4 miles SE of White Ash Peak. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is tyuyamunite and carnotite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Local rocks include Oligocene to Paleocene[?] sedimentary rocks.
Workings include underground openings comprised of an adit.
Minor production was included with the Mesa 1½ Mine.
