A former U-V occurrence/mine located in the approximate N½ sec. 29, T33N, R23E, G&SRM, 0.2 km (0.1 mile) N of Taasahdi Dzil (coordinates of record).
Mineralization is metahewettite and tyuyamunite with clay hosted in Late Jurassic sandstone. Local rocks include sedimentary rocks of the Late Cretaceous Mesaverde Group. Carnotite is associated with carbonaceous matter in the lower sandstone member of the Toreva Formation.
Workings include open pits and a NE-SW-trending rim cuts.
Production was 15 tons of ore @ 0.08% U3O8 (1958). Shipment was made as claim 31 but came from claim 35 as shown on Navajo Tribal claim map.
