A former underground Cu-Au-Ag-Pb mine located in the N½ sec. 8, T.8N., R.3W. (Morgan Butte 7.5 minute topo map). Discovered 1914. Produced 1929-1976. Claims also extend into the N½SW¼NE¼ of sec. 8, and the S½SW¼ of sec. 5. This group included the Home and Bloo Nelly in 1925.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting, shearing and igneous dikes. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration was minor to none.
Area structures include veins (and genetically-related [?]) dikes trend N10W to N40W and crosscut Precambrian fabric. Foliation inn the Precambrian schist and gneiss trends N35E to N65E.
