The Trail mine is situated on the southwestern slope of Bull Hill, just south of the Trilby. It is at present controlled by the Woods Investment Company. The mine has not been regularly worked for some time, but formerly received considerable exploitation, though the production has not been great. The workings consist of a vertical shaft about 500 feet deep and several levels, of which only the two tunnel levels are accessible.
