A former surface and underground Cu-Ag-Mn mine located on 7 unpatented claims in the center of sec. 35, T2N, R15E. (Cammerman Wash 7.5 minute topo map), on the NW slope of Quartzite Peak, 1¼ miles W of Cammerman Wash, U.S. highway 60, about 1¾ miles ESE of Crash-Up Mountain, on National Forest land. Discovered 1875. Produced 1944-1958. Claims extend into sec. 34. Previous owners/operators include Miller Enterprises; American Copper and Uranium Co.; and, Mr. Ross C. Finley (1943).

Mineralization is hosted in the Dripping Springs Quartzite and the Troy Quartzite. The ore zone is 15.24 meters long, 2.13 meters wide, and 7.62 meters thick. Ore control was a bed of shaly limestone.

Area structures include a shaly limestone that underlies the quartzite and a NW-striking Paleozoic sediments that dip 18°-30°SW.

Prospect only, if there are underground workings, their extent is minimal.
