A former surface and underground Cu-Ag mine and group of claims located in the S½ sec. 9 (SE¼SE¼ sec. 16 per MRDS), T10N, R8E (Cypress Butte 7.5 minute topo map), located about 1¾ miles S of the East Verde River. Owned by Mrs. W.E. Polk of Arizona (1970); and by Mr. Clay Thorne (1980).
Mineralization includes secondary copper minerals.
