An 1878 report stated that 300 tons of $200 ore was on the dump. Patent was issued on the claim in 1879 owned & mined by silver peak and red mountain gold & silver mining co. In 1879. Listed as an active, open-pit, gold-silver mine in 1980, employing 4 persons.
