Deposit type: Hot-spring Hg


The N 30-40 E shear zone can be traced for about 1000 ft along strike SW of wild rose mine. Opalitic material at mine low in Hg content. Sugarloaf peak may be a plug of intrusive rhyolite.(?) veins lacing rhyolite range from cryptocrystalline quartz to clear silica, with some brown jasper.
