Structure: Vein; Overturned Anticlinorium; Nw Faults; Shear Zone

Alteration: Replacement

Deposit: A vein 1 to 3 in wide is exposed at the shaft. The open pit north of the shaft contains stibnite and cinnabar in gouge. These minerals also occur As replacements along fractures. Stibnite occurs As small pods, blebs and veinlets in quartz and calcite. The mine is developed by a 20-foot shaft and two open cuts. A vein 1 to 3 inches in width is exposed in the shaft 400 ft. North of the road. The open pit north of the shaft contains stibnite and cinnabar in gouge. These minerals also occur between the shaft and open cut As replacements along fractures in a breccia of limestone fragments recemented by dolomite. Pershing and montgomery mines are on the strike of this vein. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
