Mineralization is tyuyamunite and carnotite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash Member of Morrison Formation. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Tyuyamunite occurs as interstitial fillings and grain coatings in thin sandstone interbedded with claystone. The ore body is parallel to the paleostream depositional trend. Local rocks include .
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 200 foot rim cut, 2 interconnecting adits and 220 feet of drifts. Drilled during the period 1951-1952.
