A former underground Au-Ag-Zn-Pb-Cu mine. Discovered 1892. Produced 1917-1951. Claims extend into the SE1/4SW1/4SW1/4 of sec. 2 and the NW1/4 and NW1/4NW1/4NE1/4 of sec. 11 and the E1/2SE1/4NE1/4 of sec. 10.
Mineralization is a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment of near-surface ore. No alteration was noted.
Area structures include foliation that trends N15E, parallel to many veins.
