A former underground Cu-Ag-Au-Pb mine located on 15 claims in the SW¼NE¼ sec. 22, T11N, R9E, ¾ of a mile S of Cracker Jack Mesa, 1½ miles NW of White Mountain, on National Forest land. Produced 1942-1956. Owned by W.D. Heath. Operators included Robert and Gary Ward Management and Development Co.; and, Mr. William O. Haley.
Mineralization is a vein about 4 feet wide and contains lenses, sometimes cut off by cross fractures. No detailed geologic map (see Conway, 1976, for regional geology).
Workings include a drift on the vein 350 feet long, about 150 feet down from top of the hill; a 45 foot deep shaft on the vein about 90 feet deep at the top of the hill; and a raise to 100 feet down the tunnel mouth about 45 feet.
