A former small Pb-Ag-Au-Cu mine located in secs. 27 & 28, T23S, R14E, on the east slope of Mount Benedict, on the north side of its main gulch, 5 miles NNE of Nogales, on private land. The main openings lie at about 4,050 feet of elevation. Owned by Mr. George Norbeth, of Nogales.

Mineralization is a vein which lies in the quartz monzonite country rock and dips steeply but variably to the north. It is 3½ feet wide (1.07 meters) and is composed mainly of quartz and crushed and altered quartz monzonite but contains considerable azurite, malachite, and bunches of galena, with which are associated gold and some silver.

Workings include shafts, cuts, winzes, and tunnels extending through a vertical range of 100 feet. Worked for gold; apparently has copper associated. Small production.
