A former Cu-Au-Ag-W occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 31, T15N, R21E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.0 mile) WNW of McTarnahan Hill (coordinates of record) and 1 mile N of the Valley View Mine. The property was discovered and worked during the early part of the Comstock boom. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in Late Jurassic shale, sandstone and limestone. The ore body is a quartz vein at 3.05 meters thick. The vein is flat-lying and is in contact with a highly altered meta-limestone. The vein varied in thickness from 1 to over 10 feet and had a chimney-like configuration. It followed a contact between meta-sediments and quartz porphyry. The vein quartz is crushed, limonite and talc fill the interstitial spaces. Local rocks include shale, sandstone, volcanogenic clastic rocks, andesite, rhyolite, and locally thick carbonate units.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a moderately sized pit, an adit, an incline and prospects. Several old buildings are still usable.

Production data: $160,000 (period values) was reported as production from Au & Cu.
