Scheelite occurs in tactite along a contact between calcareous hornfels and granodiorite, and in a tactite bed about one foot wide interstratified in metasediments. The contact strikes NW and dips steeply. It is intersected at right angles by the hornfels which strikes NE and dips 45 SE. The contact is explored by prospect pits and an adit; the bedded ore zone- is explored by a shaft and several small stopes.
