Alteration: Silicified Rhyolite
Commodity: One flask per 5 tons
Deposit: Open cut 1400 feet NW of shaft phyllite/shear zone; cinnabar and iron oxides in bleached and highly Fe-stained rhyolite. Cinnabar was discovered by t.c. Niebuhr in 1939, and 19 flasks of hg were recovered by the end of 1941, using a 2-pipe retort. The property was not being worked in 1943. The property was developed by a 60-ft.
