Deposit: This record has been merged with m242815, which has been deleted. Sample 2821 consists of partly vuggy volcanic breccia, iron-stained, with visible but unidentified sulfides in the matrix. Ore is very quartz-poor compared to other mines of the district.; model name could also be: detachment fault-related base- and precious-metals.
Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock
Development: Good producer discovered late in the history of the camp. Most actively worked in the district during the 1940s.
