Sec 21 T29N R38E

Deposit: Cinnabar occurs irregularly along fractures in limestone and a segment of the underlying shale. Sporadic high-grading operations durin1943-59 produced a fe W flasks of mercury. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept; 3 field observ this record has been merged with m060495, which has been deleted. This is not synonymous with wootan (as previously reported), which is mrds m242753 and located north of jackpot. Unpublished tingley (NBMG) files and map shows two distinct sites.

Deposit type: Hot-spring Hg

Development: Considerable exploration, including sinking a aft to 80 feet and diamond drilling, but abandoned in 1958.

Geology: From johnson and bailey files.
