Deposit: The 1931 discovery consisted of a 2 to 3 ft thick pay streak in gravels 6-10 ft deep to bedrock. Placers are found in gravels in buena vista canyon above the abandoned townsite of unionville. Worked on a small scale since 1860's. A new placer discovery was made in 1931 consisting of a 2 to 3 foot thick pay streak in gravels 6-10 feet deep to bedrock. This was actively worked between 1931 and 1936. Deposit type: Placer Au-PGE

Development: Worked on a small scale since 1860's. A NE W placer discovery was made in 1931 that was actively worked until 1936. No apparent activity in 1984.
