Structure: Upper Plate Of Thrust Fault; Over Turned Anticlinorium
Deposit: Cinnabar occurs in a fault As small veinlets and cavity fillings. Fault cuts conglomeratic dolomite. Vulture group comprises a group of 3 claims. Explored during 1941-43 by various lessees but no production made. Remained idle until 1954-55 when operations produced a few flasks of mercury. 2-pipe retort built in 1943. Area is underlain by conglomeratic dolomite which is cut by a weakly mineralized fault. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
