Perlite
Deposit: 2 deposits probably part of one continuous mass overlying a rhyolite flow, and partially capped by an altered rhyolite. Eccles deposit is about 150 yds S of uprr tracks, free of overburden, good quality, and contain about 18,300,000 tons. The minto deposit is about 0.25 mile N of uprr tracks, easily accessible and good quality granular perlite, containing about 981,000 tons.
