A former Cu-Zn-Ag-Pb-Au occurrence/mine located in the NE¼ sec. 30, T3N, R66E, MDM, on the N slope of the ridge, about 1 mile WSW of the Black Metals Mine, 15 miles NW of Pioche and 2 miles W of highway 93, on private land. Owned by A.C. Ellis estate; Bay State Mining and Leasing Company (1922-1930). Operated as the E and F Mine in the early 1900's; shut down in 1907; operated 1918-1921; idle in 1924. The USGS MRDS stated accuracy for this locality is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a polymetallic deposit (Mineral occurrence model information: Model code: 72; USGS model code: 19a; Deposit model name: Polymetallic replacement; Mark3 model number: 47), hosted in limestone. The ore bodies are small, irregular, replacement bodies of oxidized ore. Replacement deposits generally similar to the Bristol Mine, but smaller. Several ore-bearing NW and E-W fissures are intersected by N-S faults that traverse this formation. Copper oxides and copper carbonates fill fissures together with limited replacement of limestone. Associated rocks include Late Cambrian plutonic rock. Local rocks include limestone and dolomite, locally thick sequences of shale and siltstone.

Workings include underground openings comprised of shafts and a series of adits that intersect fissures.

Production records are only available for 1908, with a gross value of $21,300.
