"Jade" deposit : serpentinite-hosted nephrite.

NOTE: There are 2 Red Mountain Creeks in Trinity County. The data available do not permit identification of which creek is involved here. Nearest localities for both contain chromium and asbestos deposits; therefore, the host rocks are similar and no conclusion can be drawn from those data. The coordinates for the mouths of these creeks are as follows: 40°16'25"N, 123°10'56"W and 40°03'45"N 123°18'16"W.
