An group of 2 asbestos claims/prospect located in sec. 29, T4½N, R18E (sec. 20, T4N, R18E per MRDS file), at the head of I.S. Hole Canyon and 1 mile east of Seneca in the NW portion of the reservation. Started 1950 by Mr. Ned Brown.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a linear ore body hosted in the Mescal Limestone. Mescal Limestone that locally strikes N70W and dips 35NE. A zone of serpentine 24 to 30 inches (60 to 75 cm) containing 1½ to 2 inches (3¾ to 5 cm) of soft chrysotile fiber. The base of the limestone is 5 feet above the fiber zone. The ore zone is 0.05 meters thick, strikes and dips consistent with the host beds.

Workings include a few pits, a cut plus a 10 foot adit. No production record.
