A geode/quartz occurrence located along Setty Branch (stream) about 1.5 km (0.9 mile) SSE of North Uniontown.

The Setty Branch is a tributary of the Middle Fork Ohio Brush Creek approximately 1.75 miles in length. The Setty Branch flows in a westward direction and crosses Jackson Township and Brushcreek Township. The village of North Uniontown is located a mile north from the locality and is 4 miles west of the village of Sinking Spring. The rocks identified along the Setty Branch exposes a contact between the Silurian Crab Orchard Formation and the Silurian Bisher Formation.

The locality was first documented by Edward Orton in 1871 and later by James Rogers. Rogers (1936) noted numerous geodes were found along the upper part of the branch with quartz, a few that were amethystine in color.
