La Posa Plain is a wide and generally flat plain in western Arizona near the Colorado River. It is on the west and northwest border of the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, and it lies to the east of the Colorado River Indian Reservation and east of the Dome Rock and Trigo Mountains. Quartzsite lies on the western part of the plain, which crosses both Interstate 10 and U.S. Route 95.
The Plomosa, New Water, and Kofa mountain ranges border to the east. Southward, the plain ends at a drainage divide situated between the Castle Dome Mountains to the southeast and the Chocolate Mountains to the southwest.
In the northern part of the plain, Bouse Wash flows west of Bouse and continues east of Parker before ending along the Cactus Plain south of the Buckskin Mountains. Arizona State Route 72 traverses the plain between Bouse and Parker.
