A wadi, located near Sinjar town, cutting through limestones and marl.
The wadi runs roughly in a N-S direction.
Note: coordinates are estimated from original description (the wadi may, however, be one of the more narrow wadis located west of the chosen coordinates).

Sinjarite forms after wet season rains and is ephemeral, either dissolving or changing to the hexahydrate (antarcticite) and melting at 30 °C.
