A gold mine located a few miles north of the Cave Creek P.O.
Mineralization is altered schist intruded by dikes of granite porphyry and rhyolite porphyry.
Workings are comprised of several thousand feet of workings about 90 feet deep and with a width iof 300 feet. A 20-stamp mill was initially installed; in the 1890's a 100-stamp mill and cyanide plant were installed. Produced about $100,000 in Au bullion (period values).
