"Northwest of Puy on the N102, then the D21 left of Bellevue-la-Montagne. Near the hamlet of Joux on this road, there are old workings with galena and quartz." [Belot, 1978]

"(Coming from Allègre). From the latter locality take the D21 in the direction of Bellevue. After 2.5 km go right to Céaux. On the flanks of the ancient volcano Mont Bar, there is a quarry where one can collect bronzite, granite, olivine, peridot, schist and volcanic bombs of all shapes and sizes." [Belot, 1978]

Across Courbière road, from NW of Courbière village to the water tank.
Host rock: Velay granite.
