At the foot of the hillside is the ruin of a mine cottage with some remaining plaster on the walls around the chimney breast. The large tip above contains abundant galena. A platform has been created where material has been excavated from the top of the tip and above this is the fenced access to a deep shaft/gunnis. The main workings however are an open work that leads directly up the hillside to 2 fenced shafts, whilst at the foot of this open work near the stream by the cottage are 2 more small tips.
