A sedimentary Fe deposit located in the center of sec. 12, T8N, R15½E, G&SRM, about 2 miles SE of the Chediski Indian Farms and 1.1 miles N of Turkey Ridge Tank.
Mineralization is an Fe deposit (Mineral occurrence model information: Model code: 241; USGS model code: 34a; BC deposit profile F10; Deposit model name: Superior Fe [BC name is Lake Superior & Rapitan types iron-formation]) as a sedimentary hematitic bed 3.66 meters (10 to 12 feet) thick hosted in Neoproterozoic shale, sandstone and chert of the Mescal Limestone. Ore occurs in irregular masses. Local rocks include Permian to Pennsylvanian sedimentary rocks.
