A manganese occurrence with surface workings located in sec. 10, T1S, R12W, on the flat, West of Cemetary Ridge, on BLM-administered land.
Mineralization is several short, flat-dipping, manganiferous veins in volcanic breccia outcrop from beneath a mantle of gravels. They range from almost pure pyrolusite to about ½ brecciated, chalcedonic quartz. Purest veins range from a few inches to about 1 foot thick. The siliceous veins are 10 feet wide in places and form outcrops 100 feet long by 50 feet wide.
Workings include a few shallow cuts. No production record.
