A sample of enstatite collected by Olaf Anderson in 1914, labelled "Espedalen, Vegaardsheien" is discussed in Washington & Merwin (1923).

The coordinates given are for the Espedalen farm. Studies of maps doesn't shows any obvious signs of mining in the vicinity of the farm
