Historic gold mine.

Little Wonder was at the northern end of the line of lode, and by this stage the reef only held minor amounts of gold. Initially taken up by Penna and Party when the goldfield was declared in March 1894.

Pringle and Party owned the mine in 1895. They also owned the Gundaroo battery on the goldfield that processed ore from the Little Wonder Mine averaging 20 tons per week in 1895, and for other mines.

It is reported in 1899, that the mine had been idle for a long time, and a test crushing were put through the battery. By 1900 the shaft was still only down to 90 feet.

In 1901, the mine was owned by Harry Batten and party. Reports of any further crushings were not reported.
