Historic tin mine. Located southern slopes of Taylors Hill. The lease was established in 1912, and the owners in 1915 sold it to a Melbourne syndicate, who in turn let the lease on option to the White Crystal Tin Mining Company NL.

Hosted by pink to white Ardlethan Granite, alteration showing as a network of quartz-tourmaline veins. Several mentions are made in the early days of impressive large near surface cassiterite crystal specimens, some bedded with quartz crystals. The lodes are pipe like bodies on granite joints. Almost pure cassiterite slug floaters in clay are also noted.
