Historic mine. Tin (cassiterite) in quartz-tourmaline breccia pipe, with much ironstone, in granite near border with schist. Several trenches and shafts, the deepest to 47 feet. Dismissed by 1915 geologist as not containing payable ore. No historic information found, and likely mine only lasted approximately 1912-1915. Map approximate.
