An asbestos claim located in sec. 23, T5N, R17E.
Mineralization is 3 asbestos-bearing zones present in the upper part of the lower member of the Mescal Limestone. immediately under the base of the algal member, a 6 inch (15 cm) thick zone of serpentine contained veinlets of asbestos fiber having an aggregate thickness of about 3 inches (7.5 cm). The other mineralized zones, 1½ & 3 feet lower in the section, contained short fiber & were discontinuous & unimportant.
