A former underground Cu-W mine located in sec. 3, T8S, R18E, about 0.8 miles N of Copper Creek (stream) and about 1½ miles just N of W from Copper Creek (ghost town), on private land.
Mineralization is a boomerang-shaped breccia pipe with each wing about 500 feet long, in Glory Hole volcanics. The ore zone is about 304.8 meters long. The platy structure in breccia dips 10-20 SW. The pipe is located on a contact between granodiorite and hornfels derived from Glory Hole Volcanics. It is comprised of angular to rounded breccia fragments. Copper stain and pyrite are terstitial. Related structural aspects include block faulting trending NNW; reg. trends: minor pre-Cretaceous E and NE-trending folds and major post-Cretaceous NNW-trending faults. The significance of tungsten is unknown. No hypogene minerals were seen.
Workings include 2 short adits and a winze.
