Cassiterite occurs in quartz veins and pods, with 2 to 25 cm thick, commonly featuring tourmaline aggregates at their margins, sometimes exceeding 3 cm in length. Additionally, zones of pervasive tourmalinization reaching up to 50 cm outline the vein selvages.
