A former underground Ag-Au mine located on the West side of Tuscumbia Mountain. Owned by Charles Swazey. Claims extend into the SE¼SE¼SW¼ of sec. 28.
Mineralization is a North-South vein dipping West at 6 inches to 4 feet wide. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation. No alteration noted. An associated rock unit is the Brady Butte Granodiorite.
Workings include 3 tunnels, with the longest at 400 feet on the vein. Ore assayed at $20 ton (period values). A 2-stamp mill was installed.
