Metasomatic fluorite zones at contacts between limestones and granites or limestones and schists.
The Urgun field has been worked since 1981 and has total reserves 9.0 megatons of ore containing 4.0 megatons of CaF2 with an average grade of 45%. Undiscovered resources at the deposit are estimated to be 1.1 megatons.
