An asbestos deposit located in sec. 30, T2N, R19E, just NW of Black Mesa, about 2 miles South of Cassadore Spring, and about 4 miles SSW of Bear Canyon Junction, at an altitude of 3,600 feet, on Indian Reservation land.

Mineralization is Mescal Limestone intruded by a thick diabase sill and above a thin diabase sill. Limestone is tilted from 15º to 30º to the East. Serpentine and asbestos have been developed in the limestone near the locally discordant diabase sills. The ore zone is 243.8 meters long, 0.38 meters wide with a deopth-to-top of 0 meters, depth-to-bottom of 6.1 meters, and a thickness of 0.05 meters, striking N20E and dipping 30E.

Workings include pits and trenches 45. 72 meters long and 0.61 meters wide. No recorded production.
