Liščí vrch, formerly Fuchsberg (German name), is a natural outcrop of a conglomate of basaltic rocks, first described by A. E. Reuss (1840) and in more detail by Hibsch (1917): “At Fuchsberge, southwest of Salesel, the basalt tuff is overlain by a stream-like body of feldspar basalt, which dips to the south at 35°and has a brecciated structure. It includes larger basalt bombs, which are surrounded by fissures, on the walls of the fissures sit very complex built phacolite twins. The phacolite crystals are embedded in a felt of delicate needles, only 0'02-0'03 mm thick, which consist of natrolite and mesolite in parallel intergrowth.” The location is about 180 to 240 m a.s.l. Another location is at an altituded of about 310 m not far from the St. Barbara Chapel. (Paulis et al., 2014).

Minerals present are chabazite in the phacolite form, calcite, magnetite, mesolite, natrolite, opal, phillipsite, rhönite and thomsonite.
