The Sint-Jansbosch Quarry II is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The underground quarry is located southwest of Oud-Valkenburg in the northwest of the Sint-Jansbosch on the northeastern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters. Of the five Sint-Jansbosch quarries, this quarry is the second highest and is located not far from the forest edge of the Sint-Jansbosch, close to a narrow walking path.
Within ten meters to the west is the Sint-Jansbosch quarry I,
further east are also the Sint-Jansbosch quarry III, Sint-Jansbosch quarry IV and Sint-Jansbosch quarry V.
About 95 meters to the northwest is the Pruus Karel I quarry, about 300 meters away to the south lies the Quarry Essenbosch IV and approximately 325 meters to the southeast lies the Quarry of the Scheve Spar II.
From the 17th to the 19th century, the quarries were mined by block crushers for the extraction of limestone.
The quarry has an area of approximately eight square meters and a corridor length of 80 centimeters.
The quarry entrance has been covered with surrounding soil.
The quarry is carved under the Horizont of Romontbos in the Schiepersberg Limestone from the Maastricht Formation.
