The Groeve Boven Kloostergroeve quarry ("Quarry above the Klooster quarry") is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The underground quarry is located east of Geulhem in the Bergse Heide slope forest on the northern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters.
About 100 to 130 meters to the northwest are the quarries Groeve het Paradijsbergske Ia and Groeve het Paradijsbergske I and about 150 meters to the northeast is the entrance to the Klooster quarry.
It is not known in which period the quarry was mined by block crushers.
The quarry has an area of approximately 78 square meters.
The area in which the quarry is located is owned by Het Limburgs Landschap.
The nearby quarries are carved into the Meerssen Limestone of the Maastricht Formation. The quarry above the Klooster quarry was probably carved into the same limestone.
