The Meertens quarry is a former sand and gravel quarry and Protected Natural Monument in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The open-pit mine is located northwest of Vilt and west of Valkenburg in the Bergse Heide slope forest on the northern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters.

The quarry is located in the Bergse Heide nature reserve and is owned by Het Limburgs Landschap.

About 400 meters to the west is another former open-pit sand quarry, the Langen Akker. About two kilometers to the west is another open-pit quarry where limestone was extracted, the Curfs quarry. The entrance to the Vilter quarry is located approximately 350 meters to the northeast, and the Wolfsdries quarry is located approximately 350 meters to the northwest.

Since 2015, the Meertens quarry has been grazed by a herd of goats. Konik horses were previously used for this purpose, but the quarry was then in danger of becoming overgrown with acacia, willow, and birch.
